I enjoy shooting many different styles of photography from light and natural to dark and stylised. Based in Lancashire, UK.
My interest in photography started over a decade ago when I picked up a lomography film camera, shortly after this I picked up a Minolta 2 mega pixel camera which seemed absolutely awesome at the time! ...to be fair it was pretty good overall although I'm happy to say my kit has developed quite a bit since then!
Recently I have become more involved in Wedding Photography across Lancashire and the North West of England as a whole.
I like to offer a relaxed and informal approach to Wedding Photography and understand that for most people a wedding is the first time they've hired a photographer; which can be a pretty daunting experience. I offer a youthful approach to wedding photography and understand that we live in a digital world so I provide all images on disc or USB. I even provide re-sized images (along with the full quality versions) so you can upload straight to Facebook etc with ease! Generally I like to turn images round within two or three weeks so you don't have to wait months on end for your photos like some people do. Where possible I'll provide a selection of images from across your wedding day within a couple of days so you can get sharing your memories with friends and family across the world.
My initial interest in professional type photography involved work with rock bands for both live performance and promotional type images and you'll find a selection of these images on the site. Some of my favourite work includes photos of bands such as Paramore, Idlewild, Twin Atlantic, Ash & Failsafe.
Over the past couple of years I've had shots published in Kerrang, NME and Metal Hammer. I've also had interest from the New York Times and Getty Images.
I am constantly adding to my Landscape portfolio and have an interest in becoming involved in commisioned work. Whether it be photos of a particular landmark that is special to you, your home, business or vehicle.
One of my images was recently used as the backdrop of a Broadway show in New York City starring David Hyde Pierce (Frasier) see below - and a further New York Cityscape image was picked up by Time Warner Cable for use on a large wall in a new NYC store.
I hope to be able to offer prints for sale online in the coming months.
