The George Inn London Wedding Photography

Carol & Dan

To photograph a London wedding was an absolute treat, especially being in and around Borough Market which is such a cool place. The day was expertly co-ordinated by The Wedding Arrangers.

I met up with the groom Dan who was setting up the reception venue at Black Swan Studios. He would be playing drums in the band later on that night if he didn’t already have enough to deal with!

From here I headed over to the Bermondsey Square hotel where the bride Carol and her friends were getting ready. Dan joined later with his ushers and I managed to get photos of both bride and groom preparations.

I jumped in a London cab with the girls that we hailed down in the street and headed over to The George Inn where the ceremony was to take place. They don’t host many weddings as I understand it but it’s a place full of history – one of the oldest pubs in the country complete with an impressive gallery style balcony on the outside.

The ceremony took place in a cosy function room with a private bar immediately outside.

From here we had photos at the venue with family and friends before Dan, Carol & I headed over the road to Borough Market for some fun portraits. After this we walked through to Black Swan Studios which has been excellently decorated.

The food prepared on site by Basque Kitchens London was incredible. Gourmet burgers and South American inspired street food!

Dan took to the drums part way through the first dance, joined later by Carol on clarinet to Dan’s surprise!

At the end of the night I was invited over to carry on the party at a private cinema screening of, you’ll never believe it… Predator! Ha ha! A memorable end to an unforgettable day.
